The Community Outreach Program (COP)
Our mission is to build strength within the Bay Area nonprofit community.
We provide professional and customized training at a fraction of the typical costs.
COP is made up of ASTD Golden Gate Chapter members who donate and pool their time and talents to design, develop, and deliver training workshops. The workshops are tailored to the needs of the nonprofit and are conducted at the nonprofit’s worksite. By providing training solutions, COP can enhance morale, strengthen capabilities, improve performance, and increase effectiveness in the nonprofits that we serve.
The COP volunteers include human resource specialists, instructional designers, organizational development practitioners, learning and performance professionals, technical trainers, and educators.
COP is part of the ASTD Golden Gate Chapter’s long-term commitment to helping the Bay Area nonprofit community.
COP provides in-services and training for their volunteers around outreach, needs analysis, design, development and delivery of training, and evaluation of the training’s effectiveness.
